Tim at Dingleberry Records in Germany has been working with his friends at Artless Prints to create a few limited edition silk screened cover over-wraps for the Rad Owl ‘Rage Gracefully’ LP. These 12” cover wraps will be limited to less than 50 and have glow-in the dark print for the white iris of the owl and some haptic bronze for the pupils of the owl, with additional bronze hand brushing and special tactile glitter touch effects. The LP comes on two wax variants, orange or blue, with superb hand-painted cover art.
Rage Gracefully is jointly released by Sell The Heart Records in the USA, Engineer Records in the UK and Dingleberry Records in Germany. Packed with airtight and energetic melodic punk-rock, these twelve fresh tracks boast breakneck tempos, layers of nuanced harmonies, and heightened emotional urgency.

Saying: On their second album, ‘Rage Gracefully,’ Rad Owl dish out 12 tasty slabs of melodic punk rock that bring to mind the greatness of ALL / Descendents, a less metal-tinged Strung Out and a heavier version of Craig’s Brother. Not sure if that makes sense? It’s a sound that rings familiar, but not one I have heard a lot in recent years. Making even less sense?
Featuring former members of Samiam, Gratitude and The Stereo, it’s obvious these guys have plenty of experience and know how to write solid songs that are drenched in self-deprecation and Midwestern humility while also favouring the occasional riff that should put Iron Maiden fans on notice. Whether they go full-throttle on ‘Bock Szn’ or ‘Run It Out’ or take a slightly more mellow approach on ‘Always Eyes,’ these guys sure know how to rage gracefully!
