The Barking Poets are going on a mini-tour to Suffolk and Yorkshire this weekend and they can't wait to make some new friends and see PET NEEDS live! The song is about the crisis affecting the grassroots music scene caused by gentrification and mainstream trends. It's the band's tribute to Tin Pan Alley, the 12 Bar Club and many other venues that have struggled or shut down even before the pandemic.
