Most of Take Cover's friends...

We are beyond excited to announce that Take Cover will be back playing with Hyland and BAUGS on 28th December at Amsterdam Bar and Hall in Saint Paul, Minneapolis!

Get tickets here and tell everyone you know!

Also, Take Cover's new song, 'Most Of My Friends' is available now. You can listen here.

"Most of my friends are sober now, or they should be! I guess you'd say we're settling down. Most of my friends have anxiety, or a malady, that just keeps on dragging them down. Most of my friends hate the internet, or the country, a few are losing touch with reality. My friends are older now...oh shit, me too... me and my friends we're older now.

After all these years, I'm still a total disaster. And all my fears are slowing me down, but the clocks ticking faster.

Fuck it! I feel like I've lost it. Just close the blinds and tell the TV that 'I'm still watching'. Is this my bed or a coffin? Can't watch the news or scroll away the existiential exhaustion.. but then life hits quicker than a heart attack, and you can't go back. Keeps coming like a heart attack and you can't go back.

After all these years, I'm still a total disaster. And all my fears are slowing me down, but the clocks ticking faster.

Way back when we were degenerates, we'd stay up howling at the moon most every night. So caught up in the thick of it, we never knew that we were living in the good old times. Yeah, we're all getting older now.. me and my friends we're older now."

HUGE shout outs are in order to:

Engineer Records is a truly independent alternative record label with over 400 rocking releases out in the world.

We believe punk rock is an ethic, even more than a sound, and have been promoting both brand new and well-known bands equally since our formation as Ignition Records back in 1999. The label is based in the southeast corner of England but has partners and distributers all over the world.

We are always looking for great bands and ways to promote our artists and their releases.
Please contact us if you can help in any way. Let's work together.

Join our mailing list to stay tuned for occasional updates on what's new in the Engineer Records family.

Thanks for joining!
