Kid You Not call it quits

david1170

"After 8 great years and 4 albums, the time has come. We have so many mixed emotions about this decision. The ride was incredible. This little band of ours did more than it was ever supposed to do, more than we ever expected it to. We met so many amazing people from all over the world. We felt the love of seeing you sing these songs back to us. We got to release music with a label that we grew up dreaming about. We shared stages with and befriended bands that influenced us. It has been amazing."

"We want to take a moment to thank those who helped us along the way. John at Deep Elm Records, Damon and everyone at Bypolar Records, Andy at Sell The Heart Records, David at Engineer Records, Tony and every single person that helps with FEST. Jeremy, Victor, Joey, Chris, and Andrew - thank you for the time you spent as part of the family. Tyler, Charlie, and Ryan - thank you for your support and for bringing us into the St. Augustine music community. Thank you to all of our friends, family, and every single person that we’ve shared a stage with. Most importantly thank you to every one of you who ever took the time to listen to our songs and came along on this ride with us."

As terrible news as we feel this is, we understand the bands decision and wish them all the very best. We've loved Kid You Not's music and energy and will miss it.

If you didn't pick up a copy of their final album, 'Here's to feeling good all the time', then now's your chance. It's an absolute barnstormer. Cheers guys.

Engineer Records is a truly independent alternative record label with over 400 rocking releases out in the world.

We believe punk rock is an ethic, even more than a sound, and have been promoting both brand new and well-known bands equally since our formation as Ignition Records back in 1999. The label is based in the southeast corner of England but has partners and distributers all over the world.

We are always looking for great bands and ways to promote our artists and their releases.
Please contact us if you can help in any way. Let's work together.
