I Thought You'd Take My Hand

The Distance are back with a new video for ‘I Thought You'd Take My Hand’ as they continue the warm up for their second full-length album.

‘I Thought You'd Take My Hand’ is the second single from the Spanish post-hardcore band’s upcoming new album, The Wound, due out this spring, on CD via Sliptrick Records, and LP via Engineer records, Runaway records and Sell The Heart Records.

Musically, this song stands out for its melody and rawness, which combines perfectly with the emotionality of its lyrics, that evoke a journey of loss and search for shelter in relationships that are no longer there. We also see this rawness in the self-edited video that accompanies the single.

The Distance is: Yamil Ghazi – Vocals/Guitar | Óscar D. Martí – Bass/Back Vocals | Julián Gil – Lead Guitar | Alberto Abad – Drums

Engineer Records is a truly independent alternative record label with over 400 rocking releases out in the world.

We believe punk rock is an ethic, even more than a sound, and have been promoting both brand new and well-known bands equally since our formation as Ignition Records back in 1999. The label is based in the southeast corner of England but has partners and distributers all over the world.

We are always looking for great bands and ways to promote our artists and their releases.
Please contact us if you can help in any way. Let's work together.
