GhettoBlaster magazine premiere’s Datura’s third single, ‘Time’

Pacific Northwest post-punks Datura shares the third song from its forthcoming new album. Songs from a Dark House (Sell the Heart/Bat-Cave Productions/Engineer Records) is set to be released in April.

The song, called “Time”, lyrically casts a bit of dark cloud over an otherwise infectious mid-tempo post-punk tune. It’s the final single from the album, which will be launched in full on April 19th. The new album, Songs From A Dark House, is available to pre-order now and the LP comes in two gorgeous vinyl variants, whilst the CD is a digipak. All available from Engineer Records in the UK, Bat Cave Productions in Europe and Sell The Heart in the USA.

Datura formed in 2017. After recording and releasing their first two EPs independently, they released their first LP Arcano Chemical on Northern California’s Sell the Heart Records in 2022. Now, with their sophomore LP, Songs from a Dark House, also released on Sell the Heart Records and in collaboration with Poland’s Bat-Cave Productions and the UK’s Engineer Records, Datura has hit their stride with their strongest effort yet.

Songs from a Dark House is a driving collection of catchy hits. The record shines a light on the feelings of isolation and confusion one often experiences living in the modern world and touches on themes ranging from burnout, love, and loss, to addiction and war.
