We are very pleased to welcome BORN INFECTED to the family.

Born Infected is a new Dutch hardcore band, but made up of veterans from the scene and we are excited to have them join the label to work with us on their powerful debut release, 'Self Reflection'.

Ronald, Stan and Patrick already have a musical history together (Past our Means, Crawfish) but with the addition of Pascal (ex-Brickless, ex-Revealed) on bass and Ken (Reverse The Flow) on vocals, the band was complete and the idea to make Born Infected a special project quickly arose.

All the band members feel that their music should stand for something, so co-operation with other musicians and artists in the hardcore scene, and partnering with Engineer Records was a logical step for the release and to generate attention for organisations who need a platform and some extra support.   With the motto 'Stronger Together' they reached out to a couple of organisations/charities who we feel best embody their thoughts of what the hardcore scene should represent. Hardcore Help Foundation, Animal Rights and Sea Shepherd were enthusiastic immediately.   "With our mix of hardcore, metal and punk we want to wake up the world a bit. Music is a big part of our life and a great way to express ourselves and demand attention for the things we think actually matter".

The new 'Self reflection' CD bursts with eight powerful tracks of angry hardcore demanding change and bringing the energy to get it!

You can pre-order the CD now and we will ship it as soon as it comes in (mid-December) with at least three pounds from every sale (and ALL profits) going to the charities we are supporting, more info at the links above and on the bands website.

Engineer Records is a truly independent alternative record label with over 400 rocking releases out in the world.

We believe punk rock is an ethic, even more than a sound, and have been promoting both brand new and well-known bands equally since our formation as Ignition Records back in 1999. The label is based in the southeast corner of England but has partners and distributers all over the world.

We are always looking for great bands and ways to promote our artists and their releases.
Please contact us if you can help in any way. Let's work together.

Join our mailing list to stay tuned for occasional updates on what's new in the Engineer Records family.

Thanks for joining!
