Barking Poets to play R-Fest as a three piece

david1170

We would like to share some major news from Barking Poets camp. Due to his relocating to Nottingham, unfortunately Harvey can no longer continue working with the band. The band want to wish Harvey all the very best of luck in his future endeavours. There really wouldn't be a Barking Poets without Harvey, so a huge thanks for all he's done over the past two years.

You can follow his new adventures online @harveysprngfld

But as Freddie Mercury famously sung "The show must go on". Barking Poets are all very excited about their near future. Neil will be moving to centre stage and taking over lead vocal duties. They have already churned out some brand new songs and we are heading down to @southseasound next month to begin recording the follow up to last years 'Back to Abnormal' CD.

The band are also looking forward to returning to play @retromanchester for R-Fest this coming Friday. They will be playing the show as a three-piece.

There will be two stages and loads of fantastic bands.

Barking Poets are onstage Friday night at 9pm, on the basement stage.

Barking Poets will soon be auditioning for a lead guitarist/backing vocalist, so if you're interested in hopping onboard for their next exciting chapter, do get in touch!

"See you down the road!" - Neil, Ander, Conor.

Engineer Records is a truly independent alternative record label with over 400 rocking releases out in the world.

We believe punk rock is an ethic, even more than a sound, and have been promoting both brand new and well-known bands equally since our formation as Ignition Records back in 1999. The label is based in the southeast corner of England but has partners and distributers all over the world.

We are always looking for great bands and ways to promote our artists and their releases.
Please contact us if you can help in any way. Let's work together.
