We're thrilled to share the premiere for 'Birthday', the new single/video from Sleave - it’s from their upcoming album which we will have more info about soon!

Thanks to the homies at Bad Copy for premiering it.

"Richmond, Virginia based alt-punk outfit Sleave has announced the release of brand new album, entitled 'How To Get Over', which will be released on April 26th via Sell The Heart Records (U.S.), Engineer Records (U.K.), Gunner Records (Germany), Fuckitall Records (Brazil) and Sleepy Dog Records (France). It will be available on 12″ Vinyl, Compact Disc and digitally.

The band has also released the debut single, 'Birthday', off the sophomore full-length along with an accompanying music video. They had the following to say about the new song:

“‘Birthday,’ is both simply titled and simply transparent. As it attempts to answer a question so commonplace for young adults today… Where is all of this going? The song is a 90’s inspired power pop anthem that explores our feelings as we limp toward life’s finish line. And while that line may seem perilously foregone – the band still pleads its case.”

Check out the video for 'Birthday' below and keep checking back for more from Sleave!

Engineer Records is a truly independent alternative record label with over 400 rocking releases out in the world.

We believe punk rock is an ethic, even more than a sound, and have been promoting both brand new and well-known bands equally since our formation as Ignition Records back in 1999. The label is based in the southeast corner of England but has partners and distributers all over the world.

We are always looking for great bands and ways to promote our artists and their releases.
Please contact us if you can help in any way. Let's work together.
